Wir dachten zun\u00e4chst an Einbrecher (?). Doch dann sahen wir, dass die Garage des Hauses schr\u00e4g \u00fcber die Stra\u00dfe brannte. Noch war nur das Feuer zu sehen, doch kurz darauf trafen eine Vielzahl Feuerwehrwagen ein. In \u201eSchlafkleidung\u201c verlie\u00dfen wir das Haus und stellten fest, dass es drau\u00dfen eisig kalt war. Einige andere Nachbarn (die wir auf diese Weise kennenlernten), gesellten sich zu uns und das Bild des \u00a0Brandes schien f\u00fcr uns noch immer wie im Traum.<\/p>\n<p>Schlie\u00dflich war die Garage gel\u00f6scht und wir dachten, das war\u2018s. <a href=\"http:\/\/goingtotheusa.de\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Feuer_gross_2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-255\" title=\"Feuer_gross_2\" src=\"http:\/\/goingtotheusa.de\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Feuer_gross_2-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"http:\/\/goingtotheusa.de\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Feuer_gross_2-300x199.jpg 300w, http:\/\/goingtotheusa.de\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Feuer_gross_2-1024x682.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/goingtotheusa.de\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Feuer_gross_2-450x300.jpg 450w, http:\/\/goingtotheusa.de\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Feuer_gross_2.jpg 1037w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Doch pl\u00f6tzlich schlugen die Flammen aus dem Dach und das komplette Haus brannte. Es schien endlos zu dauern, bis das ganze Feuer endlich gel\u00f6scht war.
